Our Commitment

Quarkloop is built on the principle that your data belongs to you. The Quark runtime runs entirely on your local machine. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data from your Quark instances.

The Quark Runtime

Quark contains no telemetry, no analytics, and no phone-home behavior. When you run Quark on your infrastructure:

  • No data is sent to Quarkloop servers
  • No usage metrics are collected
  • No crash reports are transmitted
  • Agent context, plans, and knowledge base remain entirely local

The only external connections Quark makes are to the LLM provider endpoints you explicitly configure in your Quarkfile (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). Those connections are governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.

The Quarkloop Website

When you visit quarkloop.com, we may collect:

  • Contact form submissions — name, email, company (optional), and message content when you voluntarily submit the contact form. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Server logs — standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) retained for security and operational purposes. Logs are not shared with third parties and are retained for no more than 90 days.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services on this website.

Third-Party Services

The website uses the following third-party services:

  • Resend — for sending contact form confirmation emails. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
  • GitHub API — for displaying the repository star count. No user data is sent to GitHub.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for the duration necessary to respond to your inquiry, then deleted. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. We do not maintain persistent user profiles or accounts on the marketing website.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting us. Since the Quark runtime stores all data locally on your machine, you have full control over that data at all times — including the ability to delete it by removing the Quark workspace directory.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
